She’s back!!!!!

After a little time out, Drake Agri Marketing is back in business! I’ve swapped social media feeds for night feeds, but I certainly haven’t lost my appetite for marketing. With fresh ideas, a few agricultural puns and the same trusty pair of wellies, I’m ready to help businesses grow. After all, good marketing is about…

She’s back!!!!!

Well, would you look what’s wandered back in through the farm gate!

After a little time out, I’m delighted to say that Drake Agri Marketing is back in business!

For anyone wondering, no, I haven’t been put out to grass. I’ve just been busy growing something other than a business. A baby, to be precise!

The past few months have involved plenty of early mornings, late nights, unpredictable schedules and round-the-clock feeding. So really, not a million miles away from farming!

And while I’ve swapped social media feeds for night feeds for a while, I’ve certainly not lost my appetite for marketing.

You can take the girl out of marketing…

But you certainly can’t take the marketing out of the girl. Or the farming, for that matter!

For those who don’t know me, I’m Evelyn, the person behind Drake Agri Marketing.

I’m a marketer by profession, an agricultural enthusiast by nature and a pedigree dairy breeder through our family farm, the Olcastletown Herd, here in North Cork.

I’ve spent years working across agriculture, marketing, sales and communications, so I know my way around both a marketing strategy and a milking parlour.

And I’ll tell you one thing. There’s no point in having the finest stock in the country if nobody knows you’re in the field!

The same applies to business.

You can have a fantastic product, a brilliant service and years of experience behind you, but if you’re not getting in front of the right people, you’re leaving opportunities out to pasture.

Time to get down to brass tacks (and maybe a bit of silage!)

The marketing landscape has changed considerably, and businesses have more tools at their disposal than ever before.

Artificial intelligence, automation, digital advertising and search are changing how businesses reach their customers.

But here’s the thing.

Just because you can churn out 20 social media posts in five minutes doesn’t mean you should.

We’ve all seen those AI-generated images of suspiciously shiny cattle, tractors with questionable engineering and farmers who appear to have grown an extra finger or two.

Handy technology? Absolutely.

A substitute for knowing your audience, understanding your industry and having a proper strategy? Not a hope.

Good marketing needs more than a quick spread of content and a prayer for growth.

Much like farming, you need to know what you’re doing, have a plan in place and be prepared to adapt when conditions change.

Otherwise, you’re just throwing good money after bad. And sure, isn’t there enough of that going on already?

So, what’s growing at Drake Agri Marketing?

I’m reopening my books for businesses looking for a helping hand with their marketing and communications.

Whether you’re an agricultural business, a local SME or a growing company that needs marketing support without taking on a full-time employee, that’s where I come in.

I can help with:

  • Marketing strategy and planning: Making sure your marketing has a purpose beyond keeping the Facebook page alive.
  • Social media management and content creation: Creating engaging, relevant content that actually reflects your business.
  • Branding and design: Helping your business look as professional as the products and services you provide.
  • Digital advertising: Making your advertising budget work harder, rather than scattering it like fertiliser and hoping for the best.
  • Website content, SEO and AI search optimisation: Helping customers find you when they’re looking for what you offer.
  • Marketing and communications support: An extra pair of hands when the workload starts piling up.

No enormous agency overheads, no complicated jargon and no marketing waffle for the sake of it.

Just practical, thoughtful marketing from someone who understands that business owners have enough on their plates without having to become content creators, copywriters, graphic designers and advertising specialists overnight.

A fresh start, but the same pair of wellies!

I’m looking forward to getting stuck back in, working with familiar faces and hopefully meeting plenty of new ones along the way.

I’ll be taking on a limited amount of client work as I ease back into things, so if your marketing has been sitting on the long finger, now might be a good time to give it a nudge.

Whether you need someone to take your social media off your hands, develop a strategy or simply help get a project over the line, I’d love to hear from you.

And don’t worry, I haven’t gone all corporate during my time away.

There’ll still be plenty of farming, plenty of marketing and probably the odd bad agricultural pun.

After all, you can’t expect a business called Drake Agri Marketing not to milk it a little.

Right, enough horsing around.

Let’s get growing!

Evelyn
